Each awardee will be encouraged to utilise the Scholarship funding to actualise tech-related ideations that are beneficial to society. The ideations should be original, innovative and without any commercial entity, while also being both practical and applicable in real-life. It can be a new and original invention with demonstrations of its application OR a new idea to enhance existing products/ technology with distinctive enhancement OR a research on scientific phenomena or applying scientific theories with experimental data and results.
Upon completion of the Scholarship period, awardees’ ideations and learning achievements will be showcased at any platform/ occasion of the Scholarship. The amount of expenses will be drawn from the total scholarship budget. Awardees are also encouraged to include some sharing of their ideations in the mandatory Awardees’ Report to demonstrate their achievements.
